Jared Kaufman of Ryle High School earns spot on Ray Guy/ProKicker.com National Rankings List

Bowling Green, KY - The Ray Guy/ProKicker.com Kicking Academy has recently announced that Jared Kaufman of Ryle High School in Walton, Kentucky has been named to its National Rankings List.

Kaufman was one of thousands of high school athletes that attended the Ray Guy/ProKicker.com Kicking Academy, which is held annually in over 30 cities across the nation. The Academy provides individual instruction to the top kicking and punting prospects in the nation, while establishing itself as one of the premier sources of information for college football coaches and recruiters.

“We would like every athlete to be honored for their individual performance as well as their initiative, dedication and accomplishment to improving their skills,” said Guy.

Athletes named to the National Rankings List were individually evaluated and graded on facets of kicking and punting such as hang-time, distance, and accuracy. Kaufman’s performances put him at the top of list among the camp’s participants. His scores and profile can be found at ProKicker.com, along with complete rankings.

Countless participants of the Ray Guy/ProKicker.com Kicking Academy have gone on to earn college scholarships, and continually set new standards on the collegiate and professional levels. In the past four years alone, the Academy has helped develop three All-American punters and two All American kickers, including two Lou Groza Award winners in Jonathan Ruffin (Cincinnati) and Seth Marler (Tulane).

Other notable camp alums include: Billy Bennett (NCAA All-Time Field Goal Scoring leader), Daniel Sepulveda (NCAA Career Punting Average leader), and Nick Harris (current Detroit Lion, NCAA Career Yardage and Number of Punts leader).

“It’s all about credibility,” said Academy Director Rick Sang. “Athletes named to this exclusive list will appreciate their accomplishment much more by knowing that they have earned it.”
