NKY Girls Volleyball
The Thoroughbreds of Newport Central Catholic defeated Campbell County Wednesday evening in the Championship game of the 10th Region volleyball tournament. The girls volleyball team won with scores of 25-22 and 25-14.
NewCath's next opponent will be Marshall County. The game will be played on October 31 at 6:00 P.M.
Notre Dame defeated St. Henry 2-1 with scores of 25-22; 20-25; 25-17. The Pandas will face North Oldham at 7:00 PM on Friday.
NKY Girls Soccer
The Bluebirds (16-3-4) defeated the Crusaders 1-0 in two overtime sessions and will host Russell in Wednesday's sectional final at Tower Park. Russell (12-11-0) defeated visiting Bourbon County 3-2 Monday night. NKY.com Article
