NKY High School Football - Week 4
9/9/2010 - by NKS Editor HS Football Game of the Week
This week's video broadcast features Newport Central Catholic (3-0) at Ryle (1-1) on Friday. While the Thoroughbreds are coming off a 45-3 win over Madison Central last week, the Raiders want to bounce back after their 29-14 loss to Highlands. Last year, Ryle shutout Newcath 45-0 but the Thoroughbreds have averaged 41 points in their first three games thus far, so this will be a good test for both teams. The broadcast for this game will begin at 7:00 P.M.

Beechwood at Holy Cross
Beechwood (0-2) is looking for their first win of the season against Holy Cross (1-1). And if history is an indication of the future the Tigers should be able to put up their first "W" as Beechwood has defeated the Indians the past 5 games. But, last year's game was very close, and the Tigers had to rally back to defeat Holy Cross 36-35. Look for this game to be very close. This game so far is also voted as our most competitive game for the weekend with 33% of the votes.

Campbell County at CovCath
This is another compelling matchup as Campbell County (1-1) faces CovCath (1-2) on Saturday. CovCath has given up a lot of points in their first 3 games and Campbell County can put some points on the scoreboard. Last year, the Colonels defeated the Camels 33-14.
