Week 8 Republic Bank Football Game of the Week
10/11/2012 - by NKS Editor
This week’s Game of the Week features the Ryle Raiders (3-4) vs. the Campbell County Camels (4-3).

Ryle fell just short of beating Simon Kenton last week 27-21, while Campbell County defeated Dixie 36-32. A win from the Camels puts them in the driver seat for their 6A District as they already have District wins over Simon Kenton and Dixie. Ryle’s District record is 1-1. Ryle is 8-1 against Campbell County since 2005 but the Camels won last year 27-20.

Game of the Week Replay
Last week’s Game of the Week saw Newport defeat Brossart 54-8. Our Republic Bank Player of the Game was Senior Daylin Garland who lead the Wildcatswith 52 rush yards, 43 receiving yards and 4 total TD's, which includes a punt return for a touchdown. You can see the Replay of the game below. Replay – Mustangs vs. Wildcats

Highlands vs. Holmes
Undefeated Highlands (7-0) heads to Holmes (5-2) for another District game. The Bulldogs are 2-0 in District play but look for that to change this weekend. Holmes defeated Harrison County last week 14-0 while Highlands took care of business against Pendleton County 70-0, including 4 players rushing over 100 yards.

NewCath vs. Newport
This a 2A District game for the Firemen’s Bell. NewCath (3-4) is coming off a huge District game against Lloyd last week 63-22. Newport (3-5) won easily over Brossart 54-8. The Thoroughbreds won this game last year 56-14 and that should be about the same result for this weekend.
